Grand Prix de l'Innovation Agtech 2024 finalists announced

The Agtech Zone is proud to announce the finalists for the Grands Prix de l'Innovation Agtech du Québec 2024, an initiative that aims to highlight companies and individuals who stand out for their significant contribution to the emergence of more sustainable and resilient agriculture through the development of clean, innovative technologies and solutions.
This year's nominations cover four distinct categories, reflecting the diversity and wealth of innovation in the agtech sector.
The categories and their finalists are :
Innovator of the Year Award, presented by Réseau des CCTT Synchronex: AgriBioNovation Inc., Technologies Kourant Inc. and Innodal.
Outstanding Startup Award, presented by Zone Agtech: Earth Alive Clean Technologies, Heco Innovation, and Circulus Agtech.
Propeller of the Year Award, presented by GPS Climat: Sobeys, Les Serres Royales, and Les Serres Point du Jour.
Prix Relève d'avenir, presented by Université Laval's Faculté des Sciences de l'agriculture et de l'alimentation du Québec: Mathieu Rémy of Université Laval and Anthony Hottin of Université de Sherbrooke.
The selection of finalists was based on a number of criteria, including technological advancement, competitive advantages, and current or potential benefits for agriculture, the environment and the Quebec economy. The quality of the submissions also played a significant role in the evaluation process.
The overall winner in each category will be revealed at the Grand Colloque Agtech du Québec awards cocktail, the flagship event of the Agtech Zone, presented this year by the Réseau des CCTT Synchronex. The Grand Colloque Agtech du Québec will welcome over 200 participants to Repentigny this year, to discuss current and future challenges facing the agricultural sector and possible solutions, and to showcase innovative agricultural technologies and structuring projects under development in Quebec and the Agtech Zone.
La Zone Agtech congratulates all the finalists and thanks all the participating candidates for their contribution to a more sustainable and prosperous future for Quebec.
